Our newest event for Club Members!

We invite our Estate Club members to join us for our new winter event series, “Bistro Nights.” Our Bistro Night concept is inspired by the welcoming atmosphere and hearty fare at traditional French bistros – perfect for warming up on cold winter evenings! This event will take place in our indoor pavilion, with a roaring fire to warm up your evening.

Members will receive two complimentary tickets per membership, which will include live music, a special tasting flight and souvenir glass. Live music will be performed at the event by the Vintage Jazz Duo from Colonial Beach. VA.

A specially-priced, prix-fixe meal will be available for sale in advance, including a glass of wine that has been selected to pair with the menu. Members may also bring their own dinner.

Our bistro-inspired menu for Saturday, Feb. 1st will be:

• Appetizer: Salade Mesclun Maison
• Main Course: Chicken Divan, served with crusty French bread and butter
• Dessert: Baked Apple Terrine with Vanilla Creme
• A glass of wine (choice of one red or white selected to pair with the meal)
• Price: $35/person + tax

Dinners will be prepared by Relish Restaurant from Warsaw, VA. Relish Restaurant is known for contemporary southern cuisine that is locally sourced and fresh from the farm. Dinner must be reserved in advance by 4pm on Tuesday, January 28th. (Meal tickets will not be available at the event.)

Members, please see your email for online RSVP info or call us at 804.224-8687 to register. Up to two additional guests may be brought to the event for $10/person + dinner tickets (if applicable). We ask that all members register even if they are they are not planning to purchase the meal.

Dinner Tickets: Dinner ticket sales have ended for this event. Members may still register for the event and bring their own meal.

Q: What is Chicken Divan?
A: Chicken Divan is a chicken casserole usually served with broccoli and a bechamel (cheese) sauce. It was named after the place of its invention, the Divan Parisien Restaurant in New York City, in the early twentieth century. In French, the word divan refers to a meeting place or great hall. Q: If I will not be purchasing the dinner, will I still need to make reservations?
A: Yes. In order to allow us to set up for and be properly staffed for the event, members will need to make reservations by using the link in their email invitation or by calling us at 804.224-8687.

Q: I am trying to purchase dinner tickets online but your website won’t allow me access.
A: You must be logged in to our Online Store using the same email that is used for your wine club membership. Once you are signed in as a member, you will be able to add the tickets to your shopping cart. If you are still having difficulty, we can set up your ticket order by phone during normal business hours at 804.224-8687.

Q: May I bring guests to the event?
A: Members will receive two complimentary tickets per membership, which will include a special tasting flight, live music and souvenir glass. Members may bring up to two additional guests per membership with advance reservation for a $10/person guest fee + dinner tickets (if applicable).
