Shipping FAQ’s

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) about our shipping policies:

Q: What states can you ship to?
A: We can ship to VA, MD and CA through our Online Store. We can ship to more than 35 additional states through our partnership with Vinoshipper (see below).

Q: What is Vinoshipper?
A: Vinoshipper is a cloud-based platform that helps small wineries to sell direct. Our partnership with Vinoshipper allows us to ship to more than 35 additional states. Here is a current list of states serviced by Vinoshipper: AK, AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, ME, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY (and with 12 bottle minimums to Alabama). Vinoshipper orders must be placed on our Vinoshipper store or by calling us at (804) 224-8687.

Q: Are you able to ship to Maryland?
A: Yes! We are now able to ship to MD through our Online Store. In most cases, these orders take one business day.

Q: How long will it take to receive my wine?
A: Most shipments to Virginia and Maryland will arrive in one business day. Wines are shipped via UPS. Please note: We reserve the right to delay a shipment in the event of extreme weather in order to safeguard your wine.

Q: How can I help ensure my delivery goes smoothly?
A: Please make sure that someone 21 or over will be present to sign for your wine. You may want to have your wine shipped to a business address instead of your home for this reason. You can also ship your wine to a UPS Store location and you can pick it up at your convenience.

Q: Will I receive a tracking number?
A: Yes, once your order ships you will receive a UPS tracking number. You can track your order by entering this number at the UPS website.

Q: Should I ship to my home or office?
A: All wine shipments require a signature by an adult 21 or over. Many customers prefer to ship to their work address and find that doing so reduces delivery issues.

Q: How will my wines be packed?
A: Wines are packed in specially-designed, protective packaging. Damage in transit is very rare.

Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: We offer a 10% discount on cases (12+ bottles – mix or match). Estate Club members receive discounts of 10% on 1-11 bottles and 20% on cases (12+ bottles).

Q: Do you have any tips to save on shipping costs?
A: Shipping will only increase incrementally when you add more bottles. So ordering 3 or more bottles may only increase your shipping cost a few dollars more than a one bottle order. The lowest per bottle shipping cost will result from ordering a case (12 bottles).
